The CRM-BMST Black Male Teacher Speaker Series Program

Join the CRM-BMST for the Black Male Teacher Speaker Series where the focus will be on The Pivotal Role of Black Women in the Movement for Black Male Educators. From 5:30 to 6:30 pm, the program offers an opportunity for Food, Networking, Fellowship, and Art with acclaimed artist Oluwatoyin Tella who will facilitate an Art Workshop. The program will feature a research spotlight from nationally-recognized Black male educator researcher Dr. Dawn N. Hicks Tafari, Associate Professor, Winston-Salem State University. DJ Hyersound will present a musical and video tribute to Black women during the program. The event features an important conversation with Black women: Dr. Inger Swimpson, BOND Founder and Leadership Team; Dr. Keisha McIntosh Allen, Founding Faculty Fellow - CRM-BMST; Dr. Cavena Griffith, Principal, Harriet R. Tubman Elementary School, and Dr. Tafari about the movement to increase, recruit, retain, develop, and research Black male educators.
